At A Better Grade Tutoring, we understand that each child learns in their own
way and our program is designed to accommodate all styles of learners. We pair
students and tutors based on a variety of criteria including but not limited to
grade level, subject area and sometimes location.
The ABGT student teacher Ratio is 1:1. Research has shown that one on one
tutoring is highly effective for enhancing the students academic standing. This
is especially true for students who are struggling learners.
The ABGT lessons are closely aligned with curriculum of the student's local
school district and all worksheets and assessments are closely aligned to State
Education Standards (KDE, TEA, etc.). The instructional material is
individualized and is based in part on the student's working grade level. Our
tutors also work to find what motivates the student to succeed and on helping
students develop a good attitude toward school.
